Fourth grade chose Timothy Couch as our hometown hero because of his involvement within the community with youth football and wrestling, as well as his role in Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan and Philippines Veteran serving in the U.S. army special forces. His awards include  Afghanistan campaign medal with campaign star,  bronze star, special forces tab, and military freefall parachutist badge. 
As a community football and wrestling coach he donates many hours of his time encouraging youth sports.
