The Jackson County School System has announced the three finalists for Teacher of the Year, three finalists for Support Person of the Year, and the three finalists for Bus Driver of the Year. The district winners will be announced during a private banquet on Thursday, Sept. 25.
The finalists for Teacher of the Year are:
Bucky Sorrow, East Jackson High School
Joshua Darnell, Empower College & Career Center
Kristin Butkovich, Legacy Knoll Middle School
The finalists for Support Person of the Year are:
Kara Mawdesley, East Jackson Elementary School
Haley Meier, Gum Springs Elementary School
Jodi Sears, Heroes Elementary School
The three finalists for Bus Driver of the Year are:
Scotty Beck
Rhonda Collins
Brenda Neal
