Scholastic Book Fair! Aug 24-28

Exciting news! Our Book Fair will be open August 24–28!

Families, take a moment to set up a Scholastic eWallet for your student. An eWallet provides a convenient, cashless way for your child to shop at the Book Fair and ensures they have the exact amount available to spend.

Set up your student’s eWallet here:

Please note that due to the national penny shortage, we may be unable to provide exact change for cash purchases. Using an eWallet is an easy way to make shopping quick, simple, and cashless. All proceeds benefit our media center.

Lunchroom Monitor Volunteers Needed!

Want to make a BIG difference during the school day? We’re looking for about 10 awesome parent volunteers to help make lunchtime run smoothly!

What you’ll do:
Help students with opening packages, grabbing missing napkins, ketchup, utensils, and other little things that make their lunch a whole lot easier!

Commitment:
We’re hoping for 2 volunteers each day, with each volunteer serving once a week.

Time: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
It’s a simple way to lend a helping hand, see your child during the school day, and make lunchtime a little brighter for our students!

THANK YOU, AMAZON!

We are so grateful to Amazon for their generous donation of 150 backpacks to Heroes Elementary!

We are incredibly fortunate to have community partners who support our students and help us provide them with the resources they need to succeed. Your generosity makes a difference!

Help us congratulate Ms. Amanda McMahon, Teacher of the Year, and Ms. Jen O’Neil, Support Person of the Year!
